Description

A permanent role focused on performing quality control and assurance on business system data. The Quality Assurer ensures data standards are met, monitors the quality assurance process, identifies process/system improvements, and provides feedback and coaching to team members to maintain a high-quality operational environment within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Internal Process: Provide independent assurance on operational controls; assess data quality against standards; identify and report on process/system improvements and training gaps; collate quality data; report on risks and opportunities; provide constructive feedback and coaching to teams
• Client Service: Provide expertise to stakeholders; build relationships; deliver on service level agreements; recommend improvements for client service
• People & Development: Maintain collaborative relationships; participate in change initiatives; drive own career development; keep technical and legislative knowledge current
• Finance: Identify cost-effective solutions; manage company resources; provide input into risk identification

Qualifications

• Education:
• Essential: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Desirable: Relevant degree or tertiary qualification
• Training: Relevant product, process, system, and legislation training (Essential)
• Experience:
• Essential: 2-3 years’ relevant experience
• Desirable: Insurance industry experience and experience in client services or quality assurance
• Knowledge:
• Knowledge of relevant products, processes, systems, and applicable legislation impacting the insurance industry
• Competencies:
• Attention to detail, planning and organising skills, assertiveness, reporting skills, and Excel skills
